Breaking: Court Grants Bail To Nnamdi Kanu's Guard Who Was Arrested In His Umuahia Residence





A High Court Sitting has granted Bail to IPOB Leaders Security Guard Uchenna Kalu known as 'Ojukwu', who was arrested in Afara-Ukwu Ibekwu Umuahia, the residence of Citizen Nnamdi Kanu, following the Operation Python Dance declaration.

Recall that after the invasion and killings carried out by the Nigeria Army in Citizen Nnamdi Kanu's residence, Nigeria Soldiers and Police were captured on Security Camera, looting and carting away with his belongings. The troop initially denied the illicit invasion, but owned up to the charges after consistent public exposure. Their invasion acceptance was coated with lies, as they claimed  weapons were discovered in IPOB Leaders residence.

The victim was arrested on the 8th Of October 2017 in Citizen Nnamdi Kanu's compound and falsely accused of being in possession of weapons, in a bid to implicate IPOB Leader and authenticate the terrorism tag on IPOB.

Ojukwu as he is popularly known, was transfered to Abia State Criminal Investigation Department(SCID), kept incommunicado and tortured inhumanely, while he watched the security agents share the looted properties of Citizen Nnamdi Kanu. He was secretly arraigned in Umuahia Magistrate Court, but the court denied having the jurisdiction to grant Bail and a remand order was given to Umuahia Prisons for his detention.

His Bail Application was filed in High Court, upon which he was granted Bail and his freedom granted, by IPOB Legal Team. His Legal Fees and other Legal Processes was footed by IPOB Leadership, hence the victory recorded over his Freedom.

The released Biafran activist was accorded Transportation fare, Cloth and details of his expired rent taken, for a renewal. In delight he appreciated the immense efforts of IPOB led by Citizen Nnamdi Kanu while on detention and legally working towards his release.
He showered praises on Citizen Nnamdi Kanu and vowed never to surrender towards the quest of Biafra restoration.
He displayed a Biafra colored designed belt worn by him and thunderously screamed "The Struggle Must Continue", as he reunites with his Family.
